Education
We take education seriously in West Michigan. Whether it is elementary school, graduate school, company-specific job training or continued education, we are committed to providing quality education to our community. Beginning with K–12, parents have many choices between public, private and charter schooling for their children.
Our goal is to equip students to succeed. As a result, our school systems consistently out-perform state and national averages. Higher education opportunities are plentiful throughout the region. More than 15 colleges and universities within an hour’s drive provide a wide range of educational choices.
With over 86,000 students enrolled and over one quarter of our population having a bachelor’s degree or higher, we are fully capable of producing a talented workforce for today and the future.
