8/8/2019 // ALLENDALE, MICH –BizStream, an Allendale-based company specializing in web and software development, is investing more than $500,000 in their current 53rd Avenue location and plans to create at least 12 new jobs over three years, adding to their current 32-person team.
“Here at BizStream, we do whatever it takes to deliver on what we promise,” said Mark Schmidt, founder of BizStream. “This expansion is proof of our commitment to this community to provide the best in website and software development. Thank you to Lakeshore Advantage, MEDC and Allendale Charter Township for their support through this process. We are thrilled to extend our services to assist more people in our community and beyond.”
Lakeshore Advantage, the local economic development organization that assists employers with growth opportunities in Ottawa and Allegan counties, worked with BizStream and connected them with local and state resources to support their expansion.
“We work closely with the state and other resources to understand new economic development tools to assist companies with their growth,” said Jennifer Owens, President of Lakeshore Advantage. “BizStream is a keystone IT employer in Ottawa County with an exceptionally creative workplace culture attractive to tech workers. Through working with local partners and BizStream and understanding their growth vision, we were able to connect them with new resources to aid in that growth.”

“BizStream’s commitment to Michigan means excellent, well-paying jobs for our residents and demonstrates that our state’s world-class talent makes Michigan a top destination for tech companies to expand and grow,” said Jeff Mason, CEO of MEDC, the state’s chief marketing and business attraction arm that administers programs and performs due diligence on behalf of the Michigan Strategic Fund. “We’re pleased to work with our local partners and support this investment, and look forward to working with the company as it continues to grow and add jobs in Allendale,” Mason said.
