JR AUTOMATION EXPANDS IN THE CITY OF HOLLAND
This expansion adds 100K of new facility space and will create up to 140 new jobs.

5/24/2022 // HOLLAND, MICH – JR Automation, a designer, builder, and integrator of advanced automation solutions globally, is investing $9,900,000 in expanding its operations in the City of Holland. Lakeshore Advantage, the economic development organization that assists employers with growth opportunities in Ottawa and Allegan counties, connected the company with local and state resources to support this project.

JR Automation is entering into a long-term lease at the facility at 40 East 64th street in Holland where they will expand operations. This project will create 140 new jobs in West Michigan.

Other instrumental partners are the City of Holland, West Michigan Works!, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is supporting this project with $2,394,581 in state incentives from the Michigan Business Development Program and the State Education Tax Abatement.

The City of Holland is supporting this project in the form of a 12-year Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption.
