PERRIGO INVESTING NEARLY $14 MILLION IN HOLLAND TOWNSHIP EXPANSION

1/17/2020 // ZEELAND, MICH – Perrigo, a global consumer self-care company, is investing $13.6 million in Holland Charter Township, expanding their existing location on Reflections Drive. Lakeshore Advantage, the local economic development organization that assists employers with growth opportunities in Ottawa and Allegan counties, worked with the company to connect them with local and state resources to support their expansion.

“Perrigo’s investment is a testament to the strength and ingenuity of our region’s manufacturing workforce,” said Jennifer Owens, President of Lakeshore Advantage. “We are grateful to have this significant investment by global business leader and outstanding employer, Perrigo, in West Michigan.”

Perrigo is constructing a 66,000 square foot warehousing facility at their Holland Charter Township location to support its growth. The company currently employs over 3,000 people at their various West Michigan locations.

Holland Charter Township approved an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption over 12 years to support Perrigo’s project.
“We are very pleased to support Perrigo’s expansion and investment in their facilities in the Township,” said Terry Nienhuis, Holland Charter Township Supervisor.
